1. Introduction

This Cookie Policy explains how Khodi Mart uses cookies and similar technologies (local storage, session tokens) on mart.khodi.in and related apps. Read it with our Privacy Policy. “Cookies” here includes equivalent browser storage used for the same purposes.

2. Essential cookies

• Authentication cookies / tokens so you stay logged into seller, supplier, warehouse, and admin portals.
• Security cookies that protect OAuth state and CSRF-sensitive flows when connecting marketplaces.
• Load-balancing or infrastructure cookies required for the site to function.
• Consent / preference markers that remember essential UI choices needed for safe operation.

Essential cookies cannot be disabled if you want to use dashboards or marketplace connect. Blocking them will break login.

3. Session cookies

Session cookies keep your login and short-lived UI state active (e.g. cart continuity while browsing). They typically expire when you log out or after a defined idle / absolute lifetime. JWT access tokens are short-lived; refresh is handled by the Platform auth flow.

4. Analytics cookies

Where enabled, analytics cookies help us understand aggregate public-page usage (which Docs, Trust, or Help pages are popular). They are used for product improvement — not to sell your personal data to advertisers. We prefer aggregated metrics.

5. Preference cookies

• City selection for wholesale sourcing.
• Dismissed promo dialogs or UI layout hints.
• Language / locale preferences when offered.

6. Third-party cookies

Third parties (payment providers, Google OAuth, Amazon / Flipkart / Meesho OAuth pages, email tools, and Google AdSense on public marketing pages) may set their own cookies when you browse, leave, or return to Khodi Mart. AdSense may use advertising cookies to show relevant ads and measure performance on public pages only — not inside seller, supplier, admin, or warehouse dashboards. Their policies apply to those cookies. We only initiate login, pay, or marketplace OAuth flows when you choose them.

7. Cookie control

• Browser settings can block or delete cookies and site data.
• Blocking essential cookies may break login, checkout, or marketplace OAuth.
• Preference cookies can usually be cleared without losing your account.
• Clearing all site data signs you out of dashboards.
