Acceptable Use Policy

1. Purpose

This Acceptable Use Policy (AUP) applies to all users of Khodi Mart — sellers, suppliers, warehouse staff, API consumers, and visitors. It protects the Platform, other customers, suppliers’ anonymity, and marketplace partner trust. Violations may result in suspension, termination, legal action, and/or marketplace disconnect without refund.

2. Scraping & data harvesting

• No automated scraping of catalogue, Docs, prices, or supplier signals at abusive rates.
• No bypass of supplier anonymity or attempts to reverse-engineer hidden supplier identities.
• No bulk download of other tenants’ data via API, export, or UI automation.

3. Spam & messaging abuse

• No phishing, unsolicited bulk email/WhatsApp, or spam using Platform contact data.
• No harvesting emails/phones from marketplace sync for unrelated marketing outside your lawful customer relationship.

4. Reverse engineering

You may not reverse engineer security controls, encryption, authentication, rate limits, or entitlement checks, except to the limited extent mandatory law allows for interoperability — and then only with prior written notice where required.

5. Illegal usage

• No listing or facilitating sale of illegal, counterfeit, stolen, or restricted goods.
• No use of the Platform to violate Indian law, tax rules, or export controls.
• No money laundering, fraud, or identity misrepresentation.

6. Fake orders & marketplace abuse

• No fake orders, review manipulation, or ranking manipulation on Amazon, Flipkart, Meesho, or similar.
• No credential sharing of marketplace accounts in violation of partner terms.
• No use of Khodi Mart to circumvent marketplace compliance or account health rules.

7. API abuse

• No exceeding published rate limits or attempting to evade throttling.
• No credential stuffing, brute force, or sharing API/JWT secrets publicly.
• No accessing other tenants’ data or forging seller_id / role claims.
• No webhook replay attacks or signature bypass attempts.

8. Availability attacks

Malware distribution, DDoS, load testing without written permission, or any interference with Platform availability is prohibited.

9. Enforcement

We may investigate suspected violations, preserve logs, notify partners or authorities where required, and suspend features immediately when risk is high. Appeals: email support with your account ID.
